About Carey

Carey Chen is a dynamic executive and senior consultant with a compelling array of energy, self-motivation, and seasoned leadership qualities that were acquired over nearly three decades of diverse experiences within large-cap public Fortune 500 companies, medium-cap private enterprises, and smaller start-ups.

Carey has led several global enterprises across various industries including industrial machine tools, electrical, aerospace, marine, utilities, manufacturing, transportation and distribution businesses. His dynamic leadership has effectively led these companies to achieve and/or exceed their operating growth and profitability objectives (both organic and through acquisitions), even under severe adverse market conditions.

Having served as Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer for several companies throughout his career, Carey’s extensive experience encompasses financial, international, operations, and corporate development expertise in several industries including the manufacturing industry.

Carey currently serves as a board director for Fathom Digital Manufacturing Corporation (NYSE: FATH), the Chairman of the Board for Roberts Hawaii, Inc., and an independent board director for Hisco, Inc. He is also a Counselor of the American Welding Society and a Board Trustee of the American Welding Society Foundation.

Carey received a Bachelors of Science in Applied Mathematics from University of California, Los Angeles, earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and holds several US patents.
