Michael is an accomplished senior strategic advisor, consultant, engineer, and seasoned leadership executive with an impressive career spanning over three decades. With an extensive background in cultivating and guiding robust organizations and their leadership teams, he has left a lasting mark on multinational giants like Procter & Gamble and Honeywell, as well as private equity firms, family-owned enterprises, and thriving startups such as Harry’s New York.

Michael’s expertise includes strategy development, developing business models, designing and restructuring sourcing frameworks, closing factories, and starting up new manufacturing locations in Europe, Mexico, and Asia. He possesses an impressive and well-documented track record in successfully turning around several factories and entire businesses and crafting comprehensive strategies that continuously drive organizational growth and success.

His entrepreneurial mindset and holistic approach to leadership and organization development enable Michael to champion agile and high-performing organizations with a focus on operational excellence and innovation capability.

Michael holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich, Germany, with a specialization in aerospace technology and also holds a REFA post-graduate degree in Industrial Engineering.

Michael is a fully trained helicopter and fixed-wing pilot. His distinguished previous military career spanned various facets of military service and engineering excellence in Germany, and as a military officer, he received extensive flight training at the US Military Flight School in Fort Rucker, AL where he mastered the intricacies of TH55 and Bell UH1D helicopters.

Michael is fluent in English and German.
