Harald Scherner is a seasoned senior strategic advisor and consultant with over three decades of experience in operational leadership and executive management. Harald’s expertise centers on business transformation, operational excellence, and the implementation of lean organizational frameworks with strong shopfloor management practices. His extensive international experience spans Europe, Asia, and the Americas, where he adeptly navigates diverse cultural landscapes, fostering change and driving results across different working cultures. He has successfully led plant expansions, product relocations, and large-scale transformation initiatives in these varied environments.
Throughout his career, Harald has held executive roles with end-to-end responsibility for manufacturing engineering, strategy formulation, procurement, and product life cycle management — including R&D. For over 15 years, he led an organization of more than 1,000 employees, driving performance improvement, efficiency, and innovation across global operations.
Harald holds a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing) and a BS in Industrial Economics. He is based in Budapest, Hungary.
