Wade Gerdemann is a global customs and trade compliance expert, senior advisor, and industry leader with more than 20 years of experience building resilient, compliant, and technology-driven supply chains for Fortune 500 companies and global enterprises. With leadership roles at Procter & Gamble, Gillette/Oral-B, Ford Motor Company, Wade has designed and implemented international trade strategies and compliance systems that have saved companies millions while ensuring regulatory excellence.
At Ford Motor Company, Wade oversaw a $4B+ global duty spend, negotiated major trade service contracts, and partnered with U.S. Customs & Border Protection on a pioneering blockchain pilot. He developed global IT trade infrastructure, tariff mitigation strategies, and led government and industry engagements, including NAFTA/CAFTA renegotiations and global export control compliance.
Previously at Procter & Gamble, Wade directed global customs compliance, designing automation systems that increased compliance, reduced delays, and protected more than $500M in cost avoidance through Free Trade Agreement management. Earlier at Gillette/Oral-B, he played a key role in logistics, trade operations, and M&A integration.
Wade advises companies worldwide on compliance automation, trade controls, and process improvement.
A retired Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air National Guard, Wade holds an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Science in Transportation & Logistics from Iowa State University. Based in the Cincinnati region, he continues to guide companies at the intersection of global trade, compliance, and digital supply chain transformation.
