Fostering Transatlantic Business Connections with the European- American Chamber of Commerce.
In June 2024, Anne Cappel, cofounder and CMO of Altix Consulting, joined an impactful delegation trip organized by the European American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cincinnati (EACC) in collaboration with the European American Chamber of Commerce of the Netherlands. The purpose of this visit was to strengthen ties between European and American businesses, with a special emphasis on Advanced Manufacturing, Automation & AI, and Logistics. The delegation traveled through Southwest Germany, particularly Nordrhein-Westfalen, by way of the Netherlands, highlighting key industrial and educational sites that align with the EACC’s mission to educate, accelerate, convene, and connect.
The delegation’s itinerary included visits to renowned organizations such as KIPSTER, INTHER, Steinert, Beckhoff Automation, Wilo, Claas, and the University of Dortmund. These visits provided valuable insights into the latest advancements and practices in various sectors. Participants had the opportunity to learn from transatlantic peers and economic development partners, fostering the exchange of innovative ideas and best practices that can be implemented within their own organizations.

In addition to the site visits, the delegation engaged in meaningful dialogues with representatives from the US embassies and consulates, who offered a broader perspective on the economic and political landscapes. These interactions facilitated a deeper understanding of the transatlantic economic environment and helped to identify new opportunities for collaboration and growth.
The delegation trip also featured numerous networking events, allowing participants to build relationships with transatlantic peers, economic development agencies, service providers, and government officials. These relaxed exchanges not only strengthened existing connections but also paved the way for future collaborations, reinforcing the EACC’s commitment to fostering strong, mutually beneficial business relationships between Europe and America.
